Knowledge
Knowledge is knowing the understanding principles; theories,
applications, names of parts; tools required to do a task; safety concerns;
correct form to use etc.
Understanding
Understanding is being able to explain the how and why of
planning the knowledge you have in work related situations.
Skill
Skill is the demonstrated ability to apply knowledge and
understanding to do a task. It is the task or sub-task students actually perform based
on their "knowledge and understanding" of the particular competency
area involved.
